A new type of paper airplane has emerged, using a foil inkJet printing machine, and the inkjet printers they use to produce it.
The design of the new airplane, known as the Flux-1, uses an ultra-light, flexible, ultra-thin paper that is printed with an inkjet print head.
The result is a thin, light, flexible paper that can be made in minutes.
The Flux printer has already been used to print thin, flexible solar cells.
But the new Flux is even more flexible, which could enable the plane to be folded to form a full-size model of the Earth, which was first made by a Flux prototype in 2012.
